The Conrad Mine near Inverell produced over 3.5M ounces of silver, with significant lead, zinc, tin and copper credits, until it was closed by Broken Hill South in 1957 due to the end of the post WWII lead price boom. Underground workings extend continuously over a strike length of 1.6 km and to a depth of 270m. Since 2003, Malachite Resources has completed 19 drill holes delineating extensions to the vein systems and confirming the polymetallic high grades which typify this unique deposit. Recent exciting drilling results suggest that it may be "third time lucky" for Conrad which could become a "company maker" for Malachite. The presentation will explain why.
